Founders
Shri D R Mehta, co-founder and Chief Patron of MDA, is former Chairman of SEBI and Deputy Governor of RBI. Besides, he has held important positions in the Government of Rajasthan and the Government of India. He established Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti in Jaipur and has been honoured with several coveted national and international awards, including Padma Bhushan, TECH Museum Award for Innovation and its use for Humanity, Indian for Collective Action Award, CNBC Award for Social Enterprise, Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award for communal harmony and Rajasthan Ratna by the Government of Rajasthan.
Prof. Ramesh K Arora, co-founder and Honorary Chairperson of MDA, obtained his MPA, M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, USA as a Fulbright Scholar. Later, he was Senior Fulbright Fellow at the Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York. Besides, he served as Professor, Head and Dean in the University of Rajasthan and as Professor of Public Administration at the HCM Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration (RIPA). Prof. Arora has been bestowed with several awards, including the First Dr. Rajendra Prasad Award for Academic Excellence in Public Administration and Purushottam Das Tandon Award for his contribution to promoting Public Administration in Hindi.
